Emily LaBonte is a nurse practitioner from a small town in Tennessee. Growing up, her father was one of three doctors in her community, and he was one of the driving factors behind her choosing to go into healthcare.
Ms. LaBonte felt nursing was her calling so that she could help people. Before pursuing her FNP, she worked in the intensive care unit for several years. She is passionate about providing excellent patient care and wanted to be able to make decisions about her patient’s care.
At Intermountain Health, Ms. LaBonte believes in caring for her patients as though they are her own family. She is a family medicine provider and sees all different kinds of patients of various ages and backgrounds. She especially enjoys working with her clinical team and helping her patients to get healthy and stay healthy.
In her free time, Ms. LaBonte loves traveling, both within the U.S. and abroad. She is also an active member of her church and enjoys serving her congregation. Her hobbies include shopping, drinking coffee, and spending time with her family. She especially enjoys date nights with her husband eating good food and going to the park to play with her daughters.
Ms. LaBonte received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and her Family Nurse Practitioner certification from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
