Summit Medical Group is a private practice that has been serving seniors in Clark and Nye counties for over 14 years.  It was started by Dr. Sherif Abdou in 1994 and is contracted with all area hospitals and over 1,060 specialists in an effort to provide the most comprehensive care available. 

Summit Medical Group’s special focus is on serving Medicare-eligible seniors via our coordinated care model where a team of medical professionals is dedicated to individual patients’ preventive and comprehensive treatment. From outpatient to inpatient care, Summit Medical Group offers a total approach to healthcare for the senior community.  Our trained and personable staff are dedicated to getting our patients healthy and keeping them healthy.  They’re available for emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  They also accommodate same-day appointments for sudden illnesses.
